Katwijk aan Zee is the ideal
seaside resort for everybody looking for peace and relaxation, but with
everything close at hand.
Katwijk has 40.000 inhabitants, but even on the busiest days the 4,5 Kilometre
stretch of beach will still have a quiet spot somewhere.
In the summer life is concentrated on the beach and seafront.

Autumn and winter are the seasons to get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the
peace and quiet.
The surrounding dunes and bulb fields offer you many walking and bicycle
opportunities.

In Katwijk there is a swimming pool, possibilities for boat trips, bicycle
rental and every year the events like the weekly tourist market (in July and
August), the sea rescue demonstrations and of course the flower parades.
